AD9 is great value for the price considering that there's a kitchen you can cook in and a desk you can work on if you need some work done while in japan. I highly suggest this for those looking for long term budget minded people who don't mind walking 13-20 mins to itoshimakokomae station. There's a 711 along the way to the station and a drug store too so you don't have to worry about food or other needs.
The place and some amenities (washroom, kitchen, entrance) is shared with some other people but it's not an issue. You can also save money by using their laundry. I ended up only using 5 days worth of clothes since i can just wash my used clothes every 3 days. If i come back here i'll pack much lighter.
I suggest you also borrow a bike if you can. You can bike from AD9 to the station in about 5-6 minutes. If possible I hope the hosts can make a bike available for rent for some extra pay. I also hope they can accomodate an extra cushion so 2 people can use the room.
