Unfortunately on our first full day there, my son had to have his belongings moved out of his bedroom and had to move into his brothers room and share a bed with him because the room he was in had a yellow jacket infestation inside the walls of the bathroom, and they had made their way out of the walls. Due to the colder temps, many of these yellow jackets were slow to move and crawling along the floor, which you wouldn’t have know unless you looked very closely. Which we did, once we noticed one. Renting a 3 bedroom house, with 2 boys, and then losing one entire bedroom, forcing them to share a bed, was not the most ideal situation for any of us. Especially when pest control came to treat the nest and shut off access to the room, and that room was where the washer and dryer were. While the stay, the accommodations and the view were beautiful and pretty perfect for what we wanted, losing a room and being on edge about aggressive yellow jackets, there were some inconveniences.

We booked it for the view, and that did not disappoint! It was perfect for our group get together, plenty of space. We enjoyed the porch with the beautiful views, the hot tub for relaxing and the fire pit for having fun. Thank you to the great host!

We felt right at home when we walked in the door. This place had a beautiful view. The back yard definitely made up for a smaller living area on the top floor. They had just about everything you would need. Even a first aid kit! Which i feel like every BNB should have. The back yard area is fully fenced in which is super nice for our pups. Smaller dogs could get out if they wanted to. Over all this place was perfect we did not want to leave! Kitchen came with all the amenities you would need to make a meal. Longer stay would bring extra toiletries. The views alone made this stay worth it. There are houses close by but you still get the feeling of privacy. Bigger trucks would have a little bit of a challenge getting out of the drive way. As long as you know what you’re doing you should be fine. Plenty of hiking areas near by and downtown blue ridge is a 20 minute drive! We will definitely be back!

Absolutely beautiful property! Stunning location, well maintained and clean. We very much enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to return.
