Taproot Sanctuary is an enchanted mountain retreat, surrounded by stunning views and vast intact forest, only 35 minutes from downtown Asheville. A perfect tiny escape from busy life for those wishing to venture a bit out of town. Our charming woodland home nestles within the tree canopy, backed into the Big Ivy Pisgah National Forest. Rejuvenate in this incredibly peaceful retreat imbued by a melodious orchestra of birds and insects. Relax on the swing with a warm brew or refreshing beverage.

Celo Valley Retreat, with Awesome View

One of the most beautiful views in the whole valley, very close to rivers, streams, waterfalls, fishing, hiking, state parks, and more. Located in a private, quiet country neighborhood with little traffic. This 530 Sq. Ft. studio apartment has an additional 10 Ft. x 20 Ft. deck/balcony out front overlooking the Celo Valley with a spectacular view of the Celo and Black Mountain ranges (see photos). This apt. has its own private entrance. Sorry, we must maintain a no pet policy, no exceptions.

Our mountain sanctuary

Come relax and play in the great outdoors. Our area is abundant with lakes, rivers, waterfalls and hiking (the Appalachian trail is just a mile away). Our rustic cabin is built from 1875 hand hewn logs and is located on Spivey Creek in Unicoi County Tennessee. The towns of Erwin TN and Burnsville NC are just down the mountain for shopping convenience. For the arts, entertainment and airport convenience Asheville NC and Johnson City TN are less than an hour away. Come stay in our lovely cabin.

Cabin/Tiny Home. Relax & enjoy amazing mtn. views, 200 acres of trails, woods, pastures, farm, & fields. HURRICANE HELENE: TRAILS ARE NOT COMPLETELY ACCESSIBLE NOW DUE TO HELENE. Our trails & woods have been ravaged with 100's of trees down. Many trails are still not cleared. Our 1.5 mile upper ridge trail loop and one river trail are now open. Pastures and fields are mostly cleared and all areas around the cottage are completely cleared with amazing long range views of fields and mountains.

A quiet retreat 30 minutes from Asheville, NC. At 3500 ft. in elevation, it's mild during summer days and cool at night. The dark sky’s of YanceyCounty make for amazing star viewing. Cabin was untouched by Helene and ready to welcome visitors! Only 15 mins to downtown Weaverville and 25 mins to downtown Asheville! Take in the outdoors and fresh mountain air while staring at the AMAZING mountain views from the rocking chair front porch! This cabin is located just 7 miles away from the Blue Ridge Parkway, where you will find an abundance of hiking and scenic drives. Spend your evenings relaxing inside or cozying up by the fire pit listening to the babbling brook!

Mountain Shack with friendly animals and a view!

Hey Y'all!, we are offering a small shack (which was scheduled to be a portion our Boy Barn). It's 10x12 feet, furnished with a daybed with two twin mattresses. There is a retro DVD TV, mini refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and hot plate. Up our driveway and behind our home, you have use of an outdoor half bath and internet access. Behind the shack you have a private bonfire, hammock deck, a composting toilet and a covered area with a clay grill in an outdoor cooking area.

Secluded, mountain- hot tub, firepit Ocean Blue

Escape to our arched cabin retreats, nestled on 60 scenic acres. Each cozy cabin features a queen bed, full bathroom, kitchenette, and living area. Ocean Blue, our most private cabin, offers a hot tub on a large deck and a side yard with a campfire for s’mores. Enjoy over 60 acres of hiking trails, nearby Toe River, and the Appalachian Trail. Discover local gem mines and rich history, including moonshine lore detailed in "Red Hill." Perfect for a romantic or relaxing getaway.

River Relaxation

Our cabin is in the woods just up the hill from the river. The river is great for wading and fishing. There is also picnic areas at the river with chairs, tables, fire pits, and plenty of trees to hang a hammock. This property has a main house. The parking area and the cabin are on the lower level of the house. There is a sidewalk that goes past the house to the cabin. The cabin has it's own private area with a side yard, outdoor furniture and a firepit.
