It's just 15 minutes walk from Rutland Water, offering walks, cycling paths, or visit the nature reserve for some of the best bird spotting in the UK. Situated equally between Stamford and Oakham. The Fox is just a 10 minute walk away, an 18th century pub which serves great food. There is a well stocked village shop in Edith Weston, a 5 minute drive away.

It has been decorated in bold Farrow & Ball colours and William Morris wallpaper, with new fittings and furniture throughout. Situated just up the hill from the Meadows and famous George Hotel, there are extensive views across the historic rooftops of Stamford from the bedroom windows.

This lovely quaint house is in the centre of Stamford, on the doorstep of shops, cafes and restaurants. It is comfortable and well equipped for four people; one bedroom is a double and the other can be made up with two small singles or a kingsize bed. Stamford is known for Burghley House (and horse trials) and is close to beautiful countryside.

This delightful 200 year old stone cottage is a short walk from the centre of Stamford with its pubs, shops and beautiful stone architecture. It is listed for 4 people, with 2 bedrooms, both en-suite, but has an additional convertible bed settee, allowing a maximum of 6. The tv has Sky and Amazon Prime. Detached Victorian Cottage, Stamford

The cottage is located on a private lane with free parking. Stamford's stunning historic architecture, quaint independent shops and fabulous pubs are moments from the door. Short walk from the railway station. The cottage is ideal for a couple or group of 3. Being in town, there are daytime background noises of a a nearby laundry and occasional workman in the area but people don't generally find these a problem.

Rutland 'Multum in Parvo' a hidden gem of a county

Detached 5 bed barn conversion in a beautiful village in Rutland , where you can explore the areas many attractions. There is a good size garden with a wildlife pond, a perfect place for a summer BBQ, or just to relax in and have a glass of wine. The location is fantastic for the county with easy access to Rutland Water cycle/walking path, Rutland sailing club, the nature reserve, fishing lodge and cycle hire.
