There are 2 springs to dip your feet in, woods to hike in, a rocking chair front porch & a large entertaining back porch with great views of the mountains, woods, old outbuildings & beautiful pastures. Inside, modern amenities along with several original architectural elements. Restaurants, many attractions, outdoor activities & Chatt within 30 min.

While being just far enough away to enjoy the benefits of a quiet mountainous getaway, you're also 25 minutes from downtown Chattanooga, TN, where there is an abundance of amazing activities to partake in! With the best view from our mountaintop tiny house retreat outside of Chattanooga, sits the Wandering Gypsy Tiny House! Designed by Emily Key, this funky cozy tiny house is built with all recycled materials. Enjoy breathtaking (hot tub) sunsets from the best views on the bluff of Lookout Mountain! Our secluded location is in close proximity to all of Chattanooga's coveted outdoor adventures! Rock City, Ruby Falls, and Cloud-land Canyon (Waterfall Hikes) are all within a 10 minute drive!

For nature-lovers, with a waterfall view during the wet season, and spectacular treetop views during the dry season, the Glenn Falls Retreat is ready to host your next mountain getaway! Only a 4 mile drive to downtown Chattanooga where you can enjoy some of the best restaurants, art and music in the south; and only 4 miles to Rock City and Ruby Falls; the Glenn Falls Retreat is on a 2 acre wooded lot where you can explore the Lookout Mtn. trails and the year-round majesty of Tennessee.

The Nest by the River

This private, romantic house is the perfect getaway for couples. Constructed in 2017, this two story house is set in the backdrop of the Tennessee River gorge. Oversized glass windows on both floors provide breathtaking view of the river and surrounding mountains. Just 15 minutes from downtown Chattanooga and five minutes from kayak and stand up paddle boarding rentals as well as hiking trails. Please only those 21 and up. Please note the house is up in a hill, the driveway is steep.

Boutique St Elmo Farmhouse 7 min from Downtown

Beautifully remodeled Farmhouse originally built in 1887. Experience a piece of local Chattanooga history while letting your stress melt away in this tranquil house. Only a 5 min walk to the incline, excellent coffee shops and restaurants. This amazing home has tall ceilings, huge windows and stunning light filled spaces. A mountainous area dominated by Lookout Mtn., with elevations of 2000 feet. There are over 7,000 caves within an hours drive, including Howard’s Waterfall Cave directly below. Hiking trails with waterfalls abound. Our place is more than just a place to spend the night, it is a destination.
