It's a quiet neighborhood just minutes from the interstate, parks, trails, and our vibrant downtown with cafés, shops, and great restaurants. Enjoy privacy and breathtaking views from the enormous windows or the cozy daybed on the porch! Deer, beaver, eagles, and more make frequent cameos as the seasons paint shifting riverscapes and astonishing sunsets. *No Pets

Footbridge Farm Cabin

Footbridge Farm is a quiet country get-away located on 90 wooded acres, 15 miles NE of Decorah. We are close to the mouth of Canoe Creek, the Upper Iowa River and adjacent to state DNR land. The cozy owner-built cabin has an open ceiling with exposed beams and rafters giving a sense of spaciousness. Local stone was used in the exterior walls and the floor-to-ceiling fire back behind the wood-burning stove. The floors are oak and slate. Detailed craftsmanship can be found throughout the cabin.

Nature’s Nest

Unwind and immerse yourself in nature at this cozy cabin overlooking Timber Coulee Creek. Large living room windows and a spacious deck provide you with a bird’s eye view of the rippling river and many types of wild life. Deer amble through the property; eagles soar and keep an eagle eye on everything. Turkeys, squirrels, coons, and myriad of birds go about their business in this serene environment. Trout fishing is an excellent pastime for those who care to cast a line. Rest, at Nature’s Nest.

Sunsets on the Edge

My place is 10 minutes from downtown La Crosse, close to the airport, but you'll feel a world away. You’ll love my place because of the peace and quiet, but mostly THE VIEWS. All the modern conveniences of dishwasher, microwave, shower and stove/fridge, washer & dryer. You'll never see the same sunset! My place is good for couples, solo adventurers. Full list of amenities available, but worth noting here that coffee is NOT provided. There is a drip coffee maker, as well as a Keurig for pods.

Rustic cabin near Wildcat Mountain State Park and Kickapoo Valley Reserve. A quiet place to disconnect, hike, and enjoy the Driftless. The cabin has electricity, supplied water and a non chemical port-o-let, a heater, wood stove (we supply all indoor wood), fire pit and charcoal grill. Our Bakery is open Saturday-Sunday 9-4, May -October or order in advance off season. Short walk from parking to the cabin; we will transport your gear if needed. Enjoy our trails! LGBTQ owned. Great spot for bird watching, fishing, kayaking, boat launches, hiking or frisbee golf. Mt. La Crosse is super close to enjoy skiing/snowboarding. 15 minute drive to downtown La Crosse and 3 miles North of Stoddard puts you in a great central location for the area. Pets are welcome. The cozy bedroom #2 sleeps 1. In the living room an oversized sectional has a pull out bed that sleeps 2. Pet fee is $25 with a maximum of 2.

We are on The Mighty Mississippi River. Your backyard. You can sit on your porch, shade deck, sun deck or walk out to the dock and enjoy your morning brew. In the evening you can sit out on the dock and view a beautiful sunset. Eagles are visitors to the area, as well as Great Blue Herons, river otters, muskrats, and varieties of ducks. This is truly a place for those who love to be on water. When the day is done come in to your home away from home. (Cleaning fees included.)

Nearby activities include: canoeing, fishing, 4 wheeling, antiquing, and superb scenic sites. Pet Policy: Pets may stay with you for an extra $25 per pet/night.

This cabin is on our property where we reside, as well as rental property, with two tenants. All guests and well behaved dogs are welcome for an addition dog fee!
