The cottage is located on our 80 acre farmstead in the bucolic rolling hills of Western Wisconsin just over an hour from the Twin Cities. Relax, create, or dream in this peaceful setting. Cherish time with loved ones. Hike along the creek, woodlands and fields. Enjoy the plentiful birds and wildlife. Bring your bike in the summer, and snow shoes in the winter. Cozy up to the wood stove with a hot beverage. Work remotely with our high speed WiFi. We welcome up to two dogs for an additional fee.

The Wissahickon Inn - The Cozy Cabin In The Woods

You'll love our cabin in the woods! Once a historic mercantile, the Wissahickon Cabin has been transformed into a cozy cabin for 2 - 4 guests. The cabin is situated in the forest and visible from the Gandy Dancer Trail. The front porch boasts an access path directly to the popular Woolly Bike Trail. Our cabin is secluded in the woods, but it's less than a 5-minute drive to downtown St Croix Falls, Interstate Park, dining, shopping, and entertainment. Enjoy a peaceful getaway in the north woods!

Emerald Acres Retreat

Take a walk, mountain bike, or cross country ski in the woods on the trails over our 40 acres. Read a book in the enclosed gazebo in the woods and watch the wildlife. Stargaze during your campfire and reconnect with nature. We are just minutes from beautiful New Richmond, Somerset, Clear Lake and Amery, WI. We are just a 30 min drive to Menomonie, Hudson, Wi and the magnificent Stillwater, MN. We offer a quiet, peaceful and wooded setting to rest after a great day of sightseeing in the area.

Oak Hill Retreat

Country location, peaceful and quiet. Apartment above detached garage, full kitchen, small deck and private stairway with beautiful view of the surrounding trees. Easily accessible, 3 miles from I-94 and St. Hwy. 29, 1/2 way between the university cities of Eau Claire and Menomonie, 1 1/4 hours from St. Paul/Minneapolis. There is a growing art and music scene, with multiple music festivals, etc. The area also has fine restaurants, theaters, parks, and historical sites. Come to be restored.

Luxury Barn Cottage and Villa at Hope Glen Farm

The Corn Crib Cottage Barn or Villa is a luxurious and rustic 1100 square foot space. The Corn Crib originally used to dry corn and animal housing. This is a very rare historical building built in the 1920's The villa has a 2 person whirlpool jacuzzi , rain shower, beautiful full kitchen, fireplace and next to the 550 acre Washington County Cottage Grove Ravine regional park reserve. Hello & Welcome to our new home away from home! Our completely renovated and updated rental is fully furnished for your convenience. Located in a quiet neighborhood five blocks from the University of Wisconsin-Stout, and 11 blocks from historic downtown Menomonie. Offering two bedrooms and one bath, along with a full daybed and a twin trundle, easily sleeping seven people. Our rental is a perfect home base for business travelers, college parents or vacationers just looking to enjoy and relax!

Very private, country, wildlife, & comfort of home

Close to the St. Croix River and the Twin Cities. 2 State Parks within 10 minutes, and great dining in Hudson, River Falls, & Stillwater. Perfect for couples and family adventurers. 35 minutes from MSP and 1.5 miles off I-94. When things green up during spring and summer, it is a park like setting. Fall brings beautiful brilliant color. Winter brings cross county skiing, snowshoeing, tubing, and hiking. A treasure for nature enthusiasts. Natural setting with woods, deer, birds, turkeys.

Water's Edge House on Tainter Lake

Gorgeous little house with cap cod feel, right on the water. We call this baby "Water's Edge on Tainter Lake". Perfect way for a quick escape from the Twin cities, only 50 minutes away. Fish off the permanent dock on the water. Beautiful views and sunsets on a fun, active recreational lake. Short boat ride to Jake's super club. Some guests say its a "private location", but we are on a very active lake with houses close by. Please read our "other details to note" for more info.

Welcome to The Luxe Chalet. Romantic, tranquil, modern luxe river chalet on the Red Cedar River. Secluded sanctuary with spectacular views. Wood burning fireplace inside, 2 bonfires out. Enjoy the modern kitchen with granite counters. In-floor heat to keep you cozy & warm. Relax in the deep jacuzzi bath or outdoors in the year-round hot tub. For more sleeping privacy, there is a queen bed/futon/bath/kitchen apt above garage (see last 5 pictures) which is a one time additional $150 fee.

25 minutes from Menomonie (UW-Stout), 45 minutes to Eau Claire, 1 hr 15 minutes to MN. Kamshire Valley's Main Cabin offers an abundance of wildlife viewing, an inviting large brick patio and firepit, miles of trails for snowshoeing, hiking and cross-country skiing. Has 1 bedroom with Queen bed; If you need more rooms we have 2 additional rustic cabins (air, heat-no bathroom) that are available for additional $50/ cabin/night. The best nature has to offer, bring your camera!

Spacious Country Studio/Loft

Our spacious 900 sq. ft. studio/loft was once the art studio used by a local children’s book illustrator. You will notice some of her artwork and photos displayed throughout. The studio was designed with the intention of accommodating 2– 4 people. Our studio is beautiful, peaceful and private. Extra sanitizing practices are being taken for your safety.
