Footbridge Farm Cabin

Footbridge Farm is a quiet country get-away located on 90 wooded acres, 15 miles NE of Decorah. We are close to the mouth of Canoe Creek, the Upper Iowa River and adjacent to state DNR land. The cozy owner-built cabin has an open ceiling with exposed beams and rafters giving a sense of spaciousness. Local stone was used in the exterior walls and the floor-to-ceiling fire back behind the wood-burning stove. The floors are oak and slate. Detailed craftsmanship can be found throughout the cabin.

Nature’s Nest

Unwind and immerse yourself in nature at this cozy cabin overlooking Timber Coulee Creek. Large living room windows and a spacious deck provide you with a bird’s eye view of the rippling river and many types of wild life. Deer amble through the property; eagles soar and keep an eagle eye on everything. Turkeys, squirrels, coons, and myriad of birds go about their business in this serene environment. Trout fishing is an excellent pastime for those who care to cast a line. Rest, at Nature’s Nest.

The sunroom off the back faces an entirely private backyard complete with a fire pit & seating area. Laundry access! 1 queen and 2 single beds. Sleeps 4 but happy to accommodate extra guests!

Formal living room & dining room have original hardwood floors; upstairs has engineered hardwoods. Updated bathroom has double vanity and shower. Downstairs 1/2 bath and laundry room has sink and shower. This charming home has everything you need to make your visit to NE Iowa fantastic!

Lake House sleeps (16+) Boat Rental & Beach

Nov-April: Sleeps 15 in the house (no heat in barn) May-Oct: Sleeps 16+ (AC in the UP BARN) This Spacious Lake Front Home is perfect for the whole family with full service Amenities! Enjoy an acre of land, 4 bdrm house + bunkroom. 1st floor of barn filled with games, & ample seating. Enjoy the waterfront w/ dock, boat slip, swing & fire pit. Cushion Cabins East

Very private, secluded and relaxing spot within 30 yards of walking or biking trail. Enjoy wildlife, plenty of deer and eagles to watch off the large open front porch. Fire pits for each cabin with firewood provided. Grill provided in front yard. Two private bedrooms with a queen bed in each. Kitchen included microwave, 2-burner stove and full size refrigerator. Coffee make and toaster also provided. River for canoeing and kayaking within walking distance.

Cozy Farmhouse Getaway

Come stay at this warm and cozy farmhouse style home. This newly renovated home has everything to offer. This kitchen is unbelievable and has all your kitchen needs. Relax on the patio outback and grill some of your favorite foods! This home is located in a quiet neighborhood. It is right next to Manchester’s fair grounds and very close to downtown Manchester which includes the river, beer and food. You can’t get a better location!

Hill Top House

Located .5 miles from the Upper Iowa River, Hilltop house has the most perfect view. The house sleeps 8, but we welcome and encourage smaller groups as well. This location has 2 bathrooms, a relaxing loft and the most dreamy porch. *WARNING* When booking in the winter be aware of our driveway shown in the picture. We highly recommend 4 wheel drive. We also have a pack n play and high chair available upon request.

Berry Hill Flat

Berry Hill Flat sits perched on a bluff above Trout River Valley. Trout live in beautiful places and so do we! The Flat offers a king bed in the bedroom, full bathroom, full kitchen, living room, twin bed, and private ground floor entrance. It is the lower level of our beautiful log home nestled in the walnut trees. Minutes to Decorah, Waukon, or the trout stream in the Valley below.

Trout Creek Cabin

The cabin sits in a valley on the South Fork of the Root River. Fire pit, hot tub and 2 large patios both with outdoor dining, steps away from the trout stream make this unique property a peaceful, romantic get away. A short drive from the Root River bike trail and Lanesboro making it easy to take advantage of the best historic bluff country has to offer.
