Charming Quirky Cottage - Cliffs of Moher

Quirky elevated cottage called Tigeen, little house. It is hard to adequately describe the beauty of the setting of this cottage, I fell in love with it without ever being inside. It is totally private without being isolated, it is on its own little hill overlooking the bay of Liscannor. Inside the walls are 3-foot-thick with the cottage being over 200 years old and has hand -made wooden shutters to cover the windows. It is full of light even on the wildest of days as it has dual aspect windows.

This beautiful, traditional and historic farm house is filled with a richness of Irish culture, music and folklore. Lovingly restored using original flagstone and ash from trees on its own land. The house itself is situated at the back of the family property and it has beautiful views of Doolin, the Cliffs of Moher and the Atlantic Ocean on the Wild Atlantic Way. We are approximately 15 minutes drive to the Cliffs of Moher and 7 minutes drive (4.2km) to Doolin village. The town of Lisdoonvarna is nearby. And the beeches of Fanore and Lahinch are about a 15 minute drive away.
